Arjun`s Thiruvannamalai rolls today
Perarasu is now back with his next flick with Arjun in the lead. Director Perarasu who known for his titles which are usually names of places like Pazhani, Sivakasi and Thirupati has named his movie Thiruvanamalai. Thiruvannamalai will bring Perarasu and Arjun together for the first time.
The story is along the lines that Arjun owns a local cable TV channel faces problems with the local politicians. Arjun will be paired with debutant Sania Vakil in heroine’s role and Sai Kumar from Kannada industry as villain.
The movie is said to be produced by Kavithalaya Films. The herione hunt is on and Perarasu has penned the story, screenplay, dialogues and the lyrics for the movie. Music is scored by Srikanth Deva.

'Pudhiya Payanam' : A tale of one boy and two girls
Director M. T. Muthu has come up with a story titled 'Pudhiya Payanam' which talks about a poor boy's association with two girls. Mohammed Rabi of Vairam movies is producing the film.
Seeing the troubled marriage of her sister, the heroine of the film starts hating the very institution of marriage. But then every girl falls in love and attitudes change. With her newfound love for a poor boy she gets determined to make sure he amounts to something in the eyes of the society. Her love and affection inspire the boy to achieve great things.
Just when you think everything is going to be fine, in comes the heroine's friend from abroad and the boy's affection is turned her way.
A great deal of human emotions is expected to be part of the fundamental plot of the film.
The heroine of the film 'Maa Madurai' Mithuna and Jennifer play the female roles, while the director himself plays the protagonist.
Others in the cast include Manorama, Delhi Ganesh, Charlie, Chetan, Devadarshini, and Aarthi. Filming is going on right now.

2.25 crore for Kuselan Audio
Kuselan will definitely make a Kuberan out of producer K. Balachander who is producing the movie under Kavithalaya banner. Big Music, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group company has won the bid of the audio rights of Kuselan for a whoping of Rs 2.25 crore.
Kuelan audio has fetched a way higher price than superstar Rajinikanth’s previous movie Shivaji. All the five songs by music director G.V Prakash is complete and the music for this movie by this young musician is said to be very impressive.
The introduction song of Rajinikanth in the movie has lyrics as “MGR, NTR, Sivaji Thanthadhu Intha Cinemathan” which is sung by Shankar Mahadevan and is said to be a foottapping number. Another song has all of the superstar movie names like “Polladhavan, Murattu Kaalai, Pokkiri Raja and Rajadhi Raja ” in its lyrics. All the lyrics have been penned by Vali and Udit Narayan, Sadhana Sargam, Daler Mehandi, Chithra and Shankar Mahadevan have sung the songs.

Rs. 18 lakh helicopter for Dhanush!
It is not new in Kollywood to use helicopters for film shoots. We have seen movies that were made even a decade ago using choppers. The latest to join this bandwagon is Padikadhavan. Though Padikadhavan happens to be the name of Rajinikanth’s yesteryear hit, it is not a remake. Incidentally, the film stars his son-in-law Dhanush in the lead role along with Tamanna. Padikadhavan is directed by Suraj. The latest buzz about this film is that a helicopter has been hired to shoot a stunt sequence in Hyderabad that involves Suman and Tamanna. Sources say that the helicopter was hired from a Bangalore-based company for just two days. Guess what the price would be for just two days? Well, it is an astounding Rs. 18 lakhs! Now, that’s one fight to watch out for!

Meera jasmine to romance Captain Vijayakanth
Meera jasmine : Meera Jasmine has finally bagged a big role opposite to Captain Vijayakanth.
Her banning from the total Malayalam film industry seems to be unfazed her. She is luring all the producers and directors with her ready to anything attitude and her shapes and sizes. Some even say that she is ready to wear some skimpy clothes and also reveal her skin a slightly more than usual.
Since her chances to be welcomed into Mallwood have dimmed, her only hope is Tamil and Telugu movies. Already she is working in a Telugu movie and soon will be seen with Vijayakanth. This movie will be directed by Vikraman. T. Siva Amma creations are producing the movie.
